this is a new installation on a 3B+, running headless and accessed via VNC. The DE is lxsession, and lsb_release -a shows Debian v12 "bookworm". I'm using it as a handy little household file and media server.
The icons in the Taskbar for the open programs move to the right when I click on them, and the programs don't foreground as I expect. I have to kind of chase the icon until it's all the way over to the right side of the taskbar and then double-click it to foreground its associated program.
Xwayland shows up in ps, as does wayvnc-run.
Googling didn't turn up any discussions of this pesky behavior. So here I am!
