Momentarily shows the Raspberry Pi splash screen then sits on a black screen with a blinking cursor. I've checked the SD card on Window using Paragon software and SD card is almost full. I dont know how to go about finding what is taking all the space and don't know if that will even help it boot. Appreciate any help.

A blinking cursor is a typical response when Linux cannot boot using the boot device it's configured for. In addition to your SD card, make sure you don't have a USB stick plugged in if your device is configured to boot from USB.
Typically you'll see space-related errors if your SD card is too full to boot, but maybe you get the cursor if it's completely full too? Not sure.
If you really do need to simply clear out space, try removing old log files in your /var/log directory or any downloads you no longer need in your /home/[username] directories. That's where I would start.
Hope this helps.
